REVIEW USDr Andrus obtained his bachelor’s degree from Portland State University and his medical degree from Chicago Medical School. He then relocated to Pittsburgh to complete his radiology residency and vascular interventional fellowship with Allegheny Health Network.
Dr Andrus joined South Hills Radiology Associates in 2014 with a focus on vascular interventional medicine, wanting to serve the community he lives in. He was appointed chair of medical imaging at St Clair Hospital in 2017 and continues to serve this role.
Dr Andrus has been the director of the St. Clair Vein Center, which he founded in 2015. He discovered that vein care was underserved in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. With the growing demand for such care, he and Dr Macrino developed the vision of a comprehensive vein center and Three Rivers Vein Center was established.
When he is not seeing patients, Dr Andrus enjoys traveling with his family, hiking, drawing and gardening.
